US President-elect Donald Trump will announce nominations for his cabinet positions until just before or after the US Thanksgiving holiday, November 24, according to his campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway.
President-elect Donald Trump is not expected to reveal any of the people he plans to nominate for Cabinet positions until just before or after the US Thanksgiving holiday, November 24, his campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, told reporters Thursday.
Asked if Trump might disclose Cabinet choices as soon as Thursday, Conway said, “It’s possible, but I think basically before or right after Thanksgiving is probably more appropriate in terms of finding out.”
Earlier in the day, Trump posted a Twitter message claiming his transition team was doing “a fantastic job” and that it “will be seeing many great candidates today.”
My transition team, which is working long hours and doing a fantastic job, will be seeing many great candidates today. #MAGA

The incoming president needs to nominate people for more than a dozen Cabinet spots, including key posts such as secretaries of state and defense. The nominations are subject to approval by the US Senate.
