The Porto and Portugal striker has caught the eye with his performances for club and country, but saw a big-money buy-out clause added to his contract over the summer
Manchester United have joined the hunt for Porto’s highly-rated striker Andre Silva, according to the Daily Record.
The 21-year-old has caught the eye domestically and in the Champions League this season, while he also has four goals in just five senior outings for Portugal’s national side.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City have all been credited with holding an interest in the youngster, with it expected that he will be the subject of a high-profile switch in the near future.
He will not come cheap, though, with United and the rest of his heavyweight suitors aware that a €60million (£52.1m) buy-out clause was added to the new contract he penned with Porto ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
